In Malaysia, there are many e-hailing company such as Grab, MyCar, Maxim, EzCab, and many more. But, the most Grab and MyCar are two of the most used e-hailing company in Malaysia. Let's see which one is the best.
1. Grab
Grab is an e-hailing transportation based company that is originated in Malaysia and their headquarters is in Malaysia and Singapore. This company was founded back in 2012. Grab is founded by Anthony Tan and Tan Hooi Ling. Grab is also formerly known as MyTeksi and GrabTaxi back in 2012. Grab is not just doing transportation but also food delivery, hotel booking and digital payments via digital wallet by using their mobile app. Grab is mostly used in Southeast Asian countries mainly Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, and Cambodia.

Comparison: Grab vs. MyCar
1. User friendliness
The user friendliness of an app is crucial for its users. This is because a user friendly app means that the app is easy to use no matter who use it.
I have made a comparison for both apps, Grab and MyCar. What I found is, both apps are user friendly. But I noticed that Grab have a more organised user interface than MyCar. Both apps have given the choice to you to change your payment method where you can choose whether you want to pay with cash, credit/debit card, or with digital wallet(with the digital wallet, you need to top up the wallet before you can use it).
2. Safety.
To avoid any unwanted events, both Grab and MyCar have put an emergency button as a safety aspects for the passengers.
Both Grab and MyCar have a feature where you can share your ride details to your loved ones so that they know your whereabouts. Both apps also can share your whereabouts to PDRM when you are in a emergency situation by pressing the emergency button in the app.
3. Fare cost.
As a consumer, we always looking for products or services that will best meet our needs and the first thing that we will try to find which one is the best for us is by comparing PRICES.

Look, first thing first, I live and am a resident of Hostel Kemumin Universiti Malaysia Kelantan that is located at near the fire station at Jln. Padang Tembak. So, I decided to try and see the fare cost difference between the two by choosing the same location and target destination. The location I'm at is at my hostel and my target destination is AEON Mall Kota Bharu (I noticed that the location accuracy in MyCar is not that accurate, thats -1 for me). It seems that the fare rates in Grab is much more cheaper than MyCar.
Conclusion
In conclusion, in my honest opinion, I think that Grab is better for me. The reason for that is the price, the user interface experience and the option to do other than booking a transportation makes me attracted to it.
